Laurie was born and raised in Montgomery County and has been residing in Howard County for the last 17 years. Prior to her career in Real Estate, Laurie worked as a licensed Nursing Home Administrator, an Employment Coordinator for a large non-profit organization, and as the Office Manager/Benefits Coordinator/Human Resources Manager for a custom software business. She has an inward drive to excel at whatever she does and has received several awards for her dedication.
Laurie holds degrees in Business Management, Accounting, and Longterm Healthcare Administration. She is a member of NAR (National Association of Realtors), MAR (Maryland Association of Realtors), HCAR (Howard County Association of Realtors) and MRIS (Metropolitan Regional Information Systems/Multiple Listing Service).
Laurie has been actively involved in the community for many years. In her church, she has lead out and played the piano in the young children’s departments and has been one of the Vacation Bible School family leaders for the past 5+ years. She has also been involved with her children’s Home and School, showing support by helping out in various activities including social events, fundraising campaigns and teacher appreciation dinners.
Laurie is a people person who enjoys the outdoors, playing the piano and violin, and spending time with family and friends.
